You should have no difficulty in finding the house, if you come along the A1 north from either the M1 or M62, leave at the junction with the A59 to York / Harrogate (Exit 47). Travel towards York for about 4 miles, ignore the first signs to Kirk Hammerton until you see a large white hotel style building on your right (this is now a furniture shop), there is a signpost to Ancient Church, Kirk Hammerton and Station .....turn right here, and we are just 150 yds down on the left ( second entrance )

York, Harrogate and Knaresborough are all accessible by train - the station is just three minutes walk from the house, and this will save any problem with parking in the city or towns should you wish to visit.
